Sat Feb 12, 2011 11:59 am by maggie901

All three stories are linked both by circumstance and theme to create a unifying motif. Inarritu's penchant for playing with time and jumping between the storylines has the effect of breaking tension rather than increasing it. Secret Message!

Post by Lisa on Mon Mar 10, 2008 4:40 pm

Highlight the area below:

I like Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets but it's a bit creepy! My least favourite character in that book is Lockheart becuse he said he did stuff that other people actually did. . .
What's your fav and least fav character in that book?

Oh.
I've now read each book 10 times-my record.
But it's not just the HP series.
I've read nearly every book I own at least 6 times.

I'm not poor,nor am I rich.
I am just neutral. If I want a book badly mum buys it for me, but I have to pay her back. I get money by washing her car and doing SOME chores.
MY least favorite movie was Chamber of Secrets, only because I was scared when I saw it ( I was like 6 )

On her website, JK Rowling said that Lockhart was based on a real life friend. Some say it was her ex-husbad that inspired Lockhart. Must've been a real jerk! Shocked

Maybe not! Who ever she 'based' it on, i am sure she'd have made him seem worse. More of a 'jerk' as you put it.
